Groton Public Safety Enhances 9-1-1 Services and Emergency Notification System with New SMART911 products

Groton, MA (10/9/19) – After reviewing services available to the residents of Groton for Emergency Notification services, Public Safety Officials have selected Smart911 from Rave Mobile Safety.

Smart911 enables residents and travelers  to the Town of Groton to sign up for free at www.smart911.com or download the Smart911 app to receive important Emergency Notifications and, if they choose, create a Safety profile for their family.  Smart911 is customizable to decide what, when and how Community and Emergency Notifications are received.

It’s easy…just one sign in for two important safety services Alerts and Safety Profile.

The Smart911 Safety profile allows the individual to custom-tailor important information that would only be accessible in the event that they need to call 9-1-1.  Safety profiles are managed by the individual and are not searchable, saved by, or otherwise available to public safety personnel.  Smart911 Safety Profiles are only activated during a 9-1-1 call.
